In-ground pool openings and closings, equipment repair, custom safety covers and regular chemical service for Aurora — five miles from where we are based. Family-owned since 2012.
Aurora is about 5 miles from our base in Twinsburg — one of the closest towns we serve, alongside Macedonia, Solon and Hudson.
That matters because it changes what is practical rather than only what is possible. At this distance the full range of work is straightforward, including regular weekly or biweekly chemical and equipment checks — which is genuinely different from the far end of our area, where seasonal and cover work travel comfortably but a weekly visit is a scheduling conversation.
It also means a diagnostic and a repair are more likely to happen in the same visit, because a part we carry does not involve a trip back across two counties.
About 20 miles from Lake Erie — solidly inland, with none of the lake-effect moderation the shoreline communities get in autumn.
What follows:
Rather than stretching into November. Inland Portage County meets the first hard frost earlier than the shore does.
Colder for longer means more chance for water left in a line to freeze and freeze-crack it — and freeze damage destroys components rather than injuring them. A split heat exchanger or a cracked underground return line is a replacement, not a repair, and it is not a warranty matter because it follows from how the pool was closed. See pool closing service.
Than it would on the shoreline, because the natural season is shorter. Gas rather than a heat pump if April and October are the aim — see pool heaters.

Aurora has a long history as a recreation and resort town, and in pool terms that shows up as a higher share of commercial, club and hospitality-type pools than a town of its size would otherwise have.
That is our other half of the business. About a quarter of our work is commercial, and it is a genuinely different service from a back-garden pool — automated chemical control rather than hand dosing, controllers and feeders from BECS, Chemtrol, Stenner and Blue-White, and a documented record after every visit because a public pool is inspected.
And the jurisdiction is unique here. Aurora is in Portage County — the only town in our service area that is — so a commercial or semi-public pool is licensed and inspected through the Portage County health district rather than the Cuyahoga or Summit authorities covering most of the towns we serve. If you manage properties across those lines, the routines are not identical.

“Matt and his team are fantastic to work with. Easy to schedule, quality work is done right the first time. Highly recommend.”
We are about five miles away.
We do not publish a mile radius — reach varies by service type and season. The full list of towns is on service areas.

We do not clean pools — no vacuuming, brushing or skimming as a weekly service. Our maintenance covers chemistry, baskets, filtration and an equipment check, and most of our service customers have a robotic cleaner handling the surfaces. On a commercial pool, cleaning is normally site staff or a separate contract, and we work alongside that.
No above-ground pools, no hot tubs, no spas.
No stock sizes.
Yes, and it is one of the closest towns to us — about 5 miles from our Twinsburg base. At that distance the full range is straightforward, including regular weekly or biweekly chemical service rather than only seasonal visits.
Mid-October. Aurora is about 20 miles from Lake Erie, so it is solidly inland and gets none of the lake-effect moderation that lets shoreline communities run into November — the first hard frost arrives here earlier.

Yes. At five miles it is entirely practical, which is not equally true across our whole area — at the far end, seasonal and cover work travel comfortably but a weekly visit is a scheduling conversation. Aurora is not in that category.
It buys back proportionally more of the year than it would nearer the lake, because Aurora's natural season is shorter. Gas rather than a heat pump if April and October are the point — a heat pump moves heat out of the outside air, so its output falls exactly when you want it most.
