We are not running any promotions right now — so instead, here is what we charge and what actually reduces what a pool costs you. Family-owned since 2012.
Said plainly, because a page that hints at unpublished deals is worse than one that admits there are none. We are not running a discount, a seasonal promotion, a bundle or a referral credit at the moment. There is nothing to ask us about that is not on this page.
If that changes, it will appear here first, with the dates it applies between.
What we can do instead is be useful. People arriving on a page like this usually want the same thing — to understand what a pool is going to cost them and where the money actually goes.

Where a job is comparable enough to price, we publish a starting price:
| Service | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Pool opening | from $495 plus chemicals |
| Pool closing | from $495 plus chemicals |
| Chemical and equipment check | from $72 per visit plus chemicals |
| Diagnostic and repair visit | $150 service call, covering up to the first hour on site |
| Offsite filter cleaning | $125 |
| Liner patching | from $195 |
Starting prices exclude chemicals unless stated, and exclude parts, equipment and any additional labour a job turns out to need.
Where a job is not comparable, we quote it — safety covers, liners, heaters, automation and commercial contracts all depend on your pool, your deck, your plumbing and your access. A published range for those would be a price for somebody else's pool.
We accept credit card payment. We do not offer financing, and we do not offer free estimates.

“M&G has serviced our in ground pool for the past 10+ years. Seasonal opening & closing, replacing heaters, pumps and a number of aggravating repairs that Matt & his crew have handled correctly at a fair price. Recommend highly.”
Tell us what you have and what you need.
None of them is a discount, and all of them are worth more than one.
This is the big one, and it costs nothing. Openings cluster into a few weeks and closings into a few more. A closing booked in August can be moved later if the autumn is kind; an unbooked pool in the first hard week of November is competing with every other unbooked pool in Northeast Ohio.
For a custom cover it matters more still, because the cover is made to order — a measure taken in August sits in a completely different queue from one taken in mid-October.
Regular service is not the expensive option. It is the option where things get caught small.
A weeping pump seal noted on a service sheet is a parts job. Ignored, it lets water into the motor bearing and eventually takes the motor with it. Same fault, two very different invoices — and the only difference is whether anybody looked under the pump.
The same is true of scale on a heat exchanger, a stretched cover strap, and a filter that has stopped coming back to its clean pressure. All cheap early, all expensive late.
The single most expensive avoidable event on a pool in this climate is freeze damage, and it comes from how the pool was closed rather than from how cold the winter was.
Water left in a line, a pump volute or a heat exchanger expands as it freezes and cracks the housing around it. That destroys the component rather than injuring it — a split exchanger or a cracked underground return is a replacement, and it is not a warranty matter, because it follows from the close.
It is the visit least worth economising on, and the one where a cheaper job costs the most.
We would rather quote you the smaller job. Several pages on this site exist mainly to talk you out of spending: when an exchanger is not worth replacing on an old heater, when a liner patch is the honest answer rather than a replacement, when a variable-speed retrofit will not pay on plumbing too narrow to benefit, and when a "broken heater" is actually a loaded filter.
Those arguments are in the guides — see resources.
For everything we actually do, see services.
Where work is quoted, the assessment is part of getting to a number, and a diagnostic on the equipment pad carries the $150 service call.
So a monthly figure is never going to make a large job look smaller.
And no incentive attached to feedback of any kind.
The starting prices above are the starting prices.
We are not going to tell you we are the cheap option or the premium one — you have the numbers, and the quote-required work gets quoted after somebody looks at your pool.
No — we are not running a discount, promotion, bundle or referral credit at the moment, and there is nothing unpublished to ask about. If that changes it will appear on this page with the dates it applies between.
No. Where work is quoted — covers, liners, heaters, automation, commercial contracts — the assessment is part of arriving at a number. For a fault on the equipment pad, a $150 service call applies to the diagnostic and repair visit and covers up to the first hour on site, with parts and further labour quoted before we do them.
Not a price discount, no. What booking early buys you is availability and options — a closing booked in August can be moved later if the weather allows, and a custom cover measured in August is in a very different queue from one measured in mid-October. That is worth more than a percentage, and it is free.
No, we do not offer financing. We accept credit card payment. The price that applies to your job is the one on your written estimate rather than anything on this website.
